Thursday morning will start out with some patchy fog and a partly cloudy sky. The fog will lift by mid morning. The cloud cover will increase throughout the day ahead of our next rain maker.

A cold front will arrive around midday and bring scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few of these thunderstorms could be quite strong and produce heavy downpours, gusty winds and lightning. If you come across a flooded road turn around and find another route to your destination. As of right now this front doesn’t not look as strong a the cold front that brought all the severe weather Tuesday.

Thursday will be a warm day as the highs will reach the upper 70s to the lower 80s. That is about 10-15 degrees above average for this time of the year. The dewpoint temperatures will remain high and that will make the day feel very muggy.
