It has been another hot and humid day throughout the region with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures this afternoon are in the 80s and 90s, but with dewpoint temperatures in the 60s and lower 70s the Heat Index Values are in the 90s to near 100 in spots. So you do want to limit any time outside and wear light colored, loose fitting clothes. Be sure to stay hydrated and bring in pets and check on neighbors.
