Here’s some positive news: an Oklahoma man is being praised after his act of kindness was caught on camera.

Kevin Armentrout said in a Facebook post that his little daughter was saying “hi” to everyone she could while they were waiting to board their plane at the Las Vegas airport.

One man she approached asked if she wanted to sit with him. He then produced a tablet, and showed her how to draw with it.

Armentrout says that as they sat there for 45 minutes, “Joseph” and his daughter watched cartoons together and shared snacks.

“Watching them in that moment, I couldn’t help but think, different genders, different races, different generations and the best of friends. This is the world I want for her,” Armentrout said.

Armentrout said he “couldn’t help but think, different genders, different races, different generations, and the best of friends. This is the world I want for her.”

He went on to say “In a country that is continuously fed that it’s so deeply divided by beliefs, I want her life to be filled with moments like this… not liberal or conservative republican or democrat, socialist or capitalist, just HUMAN.”
