The Steelers will look to finish the preseason schedule on a winning streak Thursday night in Carolina.  It is one last opportunity for some younger players to impress the coaching staff.  As a result, many veteran players will not take the field, Mike Tomlin announced Tuesday.

Those players include Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell, DeAngelo Williams, Markus Wheaton Antonio Brown, Cam Heyward, James Harrison, Lawrence Timmons, and others.  CLICK HERE for more on Coach Tomlin’s news conference.

The Steelers also trimmed the team roster to 75 players by cutting the following players: Jacob Hagen, S; Devaunte Sigler, DT; Kevin White, CB.  The team also placed TE Ladarius Green on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform List.
