The St. Francis softball team is coming off back-to-back conference titles and now the team will have a new shot-caller.

The school announced Wednesday Jessica O’Donnell will take over as the new softball head coach.

O’Donnell comes to SFU from Villanova where she served as associated head coach. O’Donnell also has coaching stop as an assistant coach at Francis Marion University. According to a media release, she also worked with the Florida Pride professional softball team in 2011.

St. Francis has not lost an NEC game in two seasons winning back-to-back conference titles. The team has also advanced to the NCAA tournament the past two years.
