Penn State running back Miles Sanders landed on the Doak Walker Award Watch list Wednesday.
The award goes to the Nation’s top running back while also considering the athlete’s accomplishments in the classroom and community.
Sanders is a junior and is expected to receive a higher workload at running back with the departure of Saquon Barkley. He played in 12 games last season averaging 6.2 yards per carry with two touchdowns. He also played an important role returning kicks.
