GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Penn State softball team had three of its five scheduled games at the Sand Dollar Classic in Gulf Shores, Alabama cancelled due to rain in the area Saturday, Feb. 10-Sunday, Feb. 11.
The Nittany Lions were scheduled to play No. 14 Ole Miss and Georgia Tech on Saturday but due to rain in the surrounding area they were unable to play.
The Blue and White’s final contest against Lipscomb scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 11 was also cancelled due to rain.
Penn State will be back in action Friday, Feb. 16 when it heads to the Big Ten / ACC Challenge to take on Duke and re-match with Virginia Tech.
