Penn State is making their second straight trip into the NCAA Tournament in just their 6th year of NCAA Hockey.
A strong finish to the regular season, and a pair of wins in the Big Ten Tournament have PSU back where they feel they belong.
Penn State Basketball has moved gamed to The Palestra and around the state. Now, the hockey team will get their chance to branch out and give fans outside of Centre County a chance to see them in person.
“We’re excited for a couple of reasons,” Penn State coach Guy Gadowskiy said. “One, just in general to be back in the tournament is exciting on its own and then for us to be here.
“Everywhere we’ve gone in the state, we’ve received great support from the great Penn Staters, so I’m curious and excited to see what type of atmosphere we have here tomorrow night.”
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 pm Saturday against defending national champion Denver.
