A heads up to fans planning to attend this years Blue-White Game on Saturday, there are some parking changes
While the annual intrasquad scrimmage is free to watch, parking is not. Fans who did not have a season parking permit will now be charged $20 cash only for game day RVs and cars. Overnight RVs will need to pay $60.
Officials at the university say the change has been in the works for awhile.
“This is something we discussed in the past, but we wanted to make sure that we had a good plan to be able to implement it and had time,” Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communications Jeff Nelson said.
We’re told the parking fee helps offset some of the more than $500,000 the game costs. Lots will open at 8:00 am with kickoff set for 3:00 pm.
