Penn State senior quarterback, Trace McSorley, an Ashburn, VA native, has been named to the second-team Associated Press Preseason All-American. McSorley is one of 10 Big Ten student athletes selected to the preseason first or second team.
McSorley is a two-time captain and is playing his final season with Penn State. He has thrown a touchdown pass in 28 consecutive games, the longest streak in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, and holds the Penn State record for completion percentage, passing efficiency, passing touchdowns, and total offense.
