One Kentucky linebacker is fresh off winning the Bednarik Award which goes to the top defensive player in the country.

Outside linebacker Josh Allen announced Tuesday he will play in the Citrus Bowl against Penn State.

Allen is the winner of the Chuck Bednarik Award and the Bronko Nagurski Award (which also goes to the top defensive player in college football.”

Allen has 14 sacks on the season which is the top mark in the SEC and tied for second-best in the country. He has also forced five fumbles on the year.
