Former Penn State tight end Jesse James is leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers according to multiple reports.

The NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo first reported the news:

#Lions have agreed to a deal with former #Steelers TE Jesse James, source says. Detroit remains active.— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 11, 2019

The move was then confirmed by ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Former Steelers’ TE Jesse James intends to sign with the Detroit Lions, as @MikeGarafolo reported.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 11, 2019

James is a Pittsburgh draft pick in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He hauled in 30 catches for 423 yards and two touchdowns in 2018.
