Nolf is a three-time NCAA Champion for Penn State. He just won his third-straight championship near his hometown of Kittanning in Pittsburgh this past March.
For Nolf to make the world team, he will have to make his way to the Challenge Tournament finals where he will have to wrestle former Illinois wrestler Isaiah Martinez. Martinez handed Nolf his last college loss in 2016 in the NCAA Finals.
The challenge tournament field expects to include Tommy Gantt, Richie Lewis, Anthony Valencia, Logan Massa, and Jared Frayer among others.
Winner of the challenge tournament will face Burroughs in Final X Lincoln. Burroughs is a 2012 Olympic Champion and a four-time world champion. He also won two NCAA titles for the University of Nebraska.
