According to a report by 247Sports, Penn State quarterback Tommy Stevens could be leaning toward reuniting with his former offensive coordinator.
The report leans on an unamed source with “knowledge of the situation” and pegs Mississippi State as the most likely landing spot for the quarterback right now.
Former Penn State offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead is the head coach of the Bulldogs. Moorhead spent two seasons in Happy Valley before leaving for Starkville after the 2016 season.
Stevens has already graduated from Penn State and would be able to play right away for Mississippi State.
The Bulldogs are in need of replacing former starting quarterback Nick Fitzgerald. He served as the team’s starting quarterback for the last three seasons.
