Clifford saw some significant playing time last season. He completed his first five college passes for 195 yards in a backup role to Trace McSorley – you know – the guy who won more games than any other quarterback in Penn State history.
Now Clifford has a chance to take over the Penn State offense with the senior Stevens entering the transfer portal.
