The Penn State team will break in the new year with a game against an SEC opponent.
The Citrus Bowl and Penn State announced Sunday it will pair Penn State and Kentucky for a Jan. 1 bowl game in Orlando, Florida.

Penn State finished the regular season at 9-3. Kentucky also finished the regular season at 9-3 and second in the SEC East.
A victory would notch double-digit win totals for the last three seasons for Penn State.
