Penn State lacrosse climbed to the top ranking in the country Monday.
The Nittany Lions defeated No. 3 Cornell 19-13 and Jacksonville 24-11 last week to move to No. 1 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse media poll.
The team ranks No. 2 in the US Lacrosse Magazine poll.
Penn State is 6-1 on the season with its only loss coming against Yale 14-13.
