Penn State men’s hockey used a fast start and a dominate finish to take out Minnesota at home Friday night.
The Nittany Lions defated the Gophers 7-2.
Early on in the first period, Liam Folkes scored the first goal of the game to put Penn State up 1-0.
Nate Sucese and Brandon Biro also would net goals in the first and Penn State took a 3-0 lead into the first intermission.
The Nittany Lions would score four more goals.
Next, Penn State will take on Minnesota in a rematch Saturday at 6 p.m.
