One former Penn State player now has a new home.
Former Penn State cornerback Zech McPhearson announced Tuesday he will play for Texas Tech in the fall.
McPhearson is a graduate transfer and can play for Texas Tech immediately. He will have two years of eligibility remaining. He played in 13 games for Penn State in 2018 totaling eight tackles, a tackle for a loss and two pass breakups.
