Penn State moved up two more spots in the College Football Playoff rankings announced Tuesday.
The Nittany Lions now ranked No. 12 in the playoff rankings. The top-12 ranking would make Penn State eligible for a New Years Six bowl game if the season were to end right now. Teams must be in the top 12 of the playoff rankings to make an at-large bid to a New Years Six bowl game.
Michigan is the highest ranked team in the Big Ten at No. 4. Four Big Ten teams rank in the Top-25. Pittsburgh checks in at No. 24.
