UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa; May 1, 2019 –With Commencement ceremonies and student move out this weekend, Penn State baseball and softball fans are advised of a new softball general fan parking location as well as to be prepared for the potential of heavier traffic for baseball and softball throughout the weekend.

Fans should refer to the complete timeline of baseball and softball games and graduation ceremonies scheduled in adjacent facilities (below). Fans coming to baseball and softball games this weekend are encouraged to allow extra traveling time.

Note:  Because of the potential unsettled weather forecast for this weekend, fans are advised to check www.GoPSUsports.com as well as the softball and baseball social media feeds for weekend schedule updates.

Softball Traffic/Parking

For softball, the 2019 purple reserved parking permits for the Orange-B lot just North of Nittany Lion Softball Park will be honored for all three games this weekend.  However, the additional Orange-B lots surrounding the stadium, along with the Student Lot 82, will be reserved and signed for loading and unloading for student move out of East Halls.

Open parking is free of charge for all softball fans without a reserved permit at the Orange-A lot at the Katz Law School Building. This lot is just north of Park Avenue and accessed from the intersection of Park Avenue and Bigler Road.  Fans should then take the sidewalk back to Nittany Lion Softball Park, crossing Park Avenue at the designated intersections.

Baseball Traffic/Parking

General fan parking for baseball for all three games this weekend is in the Porter North parking lot.  Fans are advised to approach this lot from the north from Park Avenue or Fox Hollow Road and to be prepared for heavy traffic before and after the commencement ceremonies occurring in the Bryce Jordan Center and Pegula Ice Arena.
