Former Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg made his first pro football start in a regular season game Sunday.
Hackenberg quarterbacked the Memphis Express against the Birmingham Iron in a new Spring football league called the Alliance of American Football.
The Memphis Express lost the game 26-0. Hackenberg finished the day 10-23 passing with 87 yards and one interception. The team subbed in backup Brandon Silvers late in the fourth quarter.
