Former Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg has won a starting job in a pro football league.
The Alliance of Amercian football opens its first season this weeked and Hackenberg sits at the top of the Memphis Express depth chart.

The Memphis Express released its depth chart Friday. No. 2 Brandon Silvers (Troy) and No. 3 Zach Mettenberger (LSU) will back up Hackenberg.
The Express will play the Birgmingham Iron Sunday at 4 p.m ET televised on The CBS Sports Network.
