One former Penn State basketball player continues to carve out an NFL career after not playing football in college.
The Indianapolis Colts signed tight end Ross Travis to a one-year extension Tuesday:

Travis has spent four seasons in the NFL. He went undrafted in the 2015 NFL draft before signing a free agency deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. He spent the 2015 and 2016 season with the Chiefs.
The Colts picked up Travis on waivers on Nov. 28, 2017. He spent the 2018 season on injured reserve.
Travis played basketball at Penn State from 2011 to 2015. He started 98 games in his Penn State career.
