According to our sister station WHTM, former Penn State basketball player Jermaine Marshall died of complications from an undetected heart condition.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Former Penn State basketball player and Red Land graduate, Jermaine Marshall, died of complications from an undetected heart condition, according to his family.
Marshal was playing professional basketball in France when he died suddenly on January 18. he was 28 years old.
His family said French authorities performed an autopsy and discovered the heart condition.
Marshall graduated from Red Land High School. He played at Penn State University for three years, then transferred to Arizona State for his senior season. He then played professionally for Hermine Nantes basketball team in Nantes, France.
Funeral arrangements have been set for Marshall. A service will be held Saturday, February 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church at 1201 N 17th St, Harrisburg, PA 17103.
