Three former Penn State players hoped to turn some heads in Indianapolis Friday.

Running back Miles Sander and offensive linemen Ryan Bates and Connor McGovern went through on-field drills at the NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium.

OL Ryan Bates

40-yard dash: 5.09 unofficial (Tied for tenth or offensive linemen)

Bench Press (225 lbs): 28 reps

Vertical Jump: 27 inches

Broad Jump: 102 inches

Three-Cone Drill: 7.45 seconds (third)

20-Yard Shuttle: 4.53 seconds (tied for fifth)

60-Yard Shuttle: Did not compete

OL Connor McGovern

40-yard dash: Did not compete

Bench Press: 28 reps (tied for ninth for offensive linemen)

Vertical Jump: Did not compete

Broad Jump: 112 inches (tied for eighth)
