Just keep letting the preseason hype train roll in for Penn State Football.
Senior quarterback Trace McSorley landed on the preseason watch list for the Davey O’Brien Award Tuesday which goes to the country’s top quarterback. Senior safety Nick Scott earned a nomination to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.
It is the second watch list for McSorley in two days. He landed on the watch list for the Maxwell Award Monday which goes to the nation’s top player.
Both McSorley and Scott will join teammate Amani Oruwariye and coach James Franklin in Chicago for Big Ten Media Days next week.
