The Saint Francis women tripped to Sacred Heart and defeated the No. 2-seed Pioneers Thursday night 68-60 in the Northeast Conference semifinals. Guard Jess Kovatch finished witgh 23 points and seven rebounds.
Saint Francis will move to the NEC Tournament Finals where the Red Flash will next triop to Robert Morris for the championship game Sunday at 2 p.m. televised on ESPN U.
If Saint Francis wins the conference tournament, it will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
