The Saint Francis softball team is looking to win its third-straight Northeast Conference title.
The No. 3 seeded Red Flash started NEC Conference Tournament play off right with a 7-0 shutout win over No. 2 seed Sacred Heart Thursday.
Sacred Heart was pitching a no-hitter before Saint Francis broke it up in the fifth inning.
Saint Francis would score seven runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
The team will next play No. 1 seed and host team LIU Brooklyn Friday at 11 a.m.
