Saint Francis men’s basketball took home top honors from the Northeast Conference Tuesday.
Red Flash guard Keith Braxton earned Northeast Conference Player of the Year honors. Head coach Rob Krimmel earned Northeast Conference Coach of the Year honors and guard Jamal King also earned All-NEC First Team honors.

The awards are based on votes by the league’s coaches. Braxton led the NEC with 9.7 rebounds per game and recorded 11 double-doubles this season. He has scored 16.4 points per game which ranks top-10 in the league.
Braxton has earned a spot on the All-NEC First Team the last three years.
Krimmel earned Coach of the Year honors after leading Saint Francis to its first regular season NEC championship since 1991. Saint Francis finished 12-6 in conference play.
Top-seeded Saint Francis will host No. 8 seed Bryant Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the NEC Tournament Quarterfinals.
