You could call the Mount Union baseball team Cinderella – if she wore cleats.

The Trojans defeated Franklin 3-1 Tuesday at Showers Field in DuBois in the Class 3A state semifinals.

Mt. Union will next play Notre Dame Green Pond Thursday at 4 p.m. in the state championship game. The game is at Penn State’s Medlar Field.
