A couple Central PA teams got a start to district tournament play Thursday.
State College defeated Altoona 17-0 in four innings to advance to the district final.
State College will play Mifflin County at St. Francis University on May 22 in the district championship game.
Central Mountain defeated Hollidaysburg 11-1 in five innings. Central Mountain will move on to play DuBois on May 22 at St. Francis University.
