The Clearfield softball and baseball teams both played for District 9 titles Wednesday in DuBois.
Clearfield softball defeated Karns City 5-1 to win the District 9 Class 3A championship. It is the first district title for the Clearfield softball team since 2007.
Punxsutawney defeated Clearfield baseball 5-3 in the District 9 Class 4A championship.
