Bald Eagle’s Cardiac Coach gets another swing at life

WINGATE, Pa. (WTAJ) — Bald Eagle softball coach Don Lucas has plenty of heart – and plenty to be thankful for.

Lucas underwent open-heart surgery back in January where he was told he needed six bypasses. Now as a 20-year veteran high school softball coach, his Bald Eagle team will play in the state semifinals Tuesday.
