There might be a new rivalry brewing inside the Big Ten, at least for Penn State fans.

Former Wisconsin linebacker, DeAndre Levy, took a shot at the late Joe Paterno.

Back in 2006, Levy was involved in a sideline collision and ended up rolling onto the legendary coach and breaking his leg.

Levy told Men’s Journal  he felt bad at the time but is glad he did it.

Levy said his new revelation came after the arrest of Jerry Sandusky.  The former Penn State coach is in prison after being convicted for molesting children.

Levy believes Paterno and the Penn State community protected Sandusky to save its football image.

“That dirtbag, man,” says Levy of Paterno. “We’ve gotta stop prioritizing sports over humanity. Just because somebody can throw a football or coach football, they’re excluded from their wicked acts.”

Levy now plays for the Detroit Lions.
