It didn’t take Mitch Keller long to make his presence felt in Altoona.
The pitcher helped the Curve win the 2017 Eastern League Championship, taking home MVP honors.
In 2018, he picked up where he left off, posting a 9-2 record and a 2.72 ERA.
Those results made it an easy call when the Pirates promoted Keller to triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday.
