Maryland’s football coach D.J. Durkin is currently on administrative leave after one of his players passed away due to one of the team’s workouts.
Jordan McNair was a 19-year-old offensive lineman who passed away after a heatstroke during a University of Maryland football offseason workout.
The school has since fired its strength coach and placed its head coach on leave after reports of a “culture of bullying” surfaced.
