After a dominating performance on Monday night, Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Williams racked up 143 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns in the Steelers 38-16 win over the Redskins. His statistics led all NFL running backs in week one.

According to Steelers.com, Williams 143 yards rushing were the most in a season opener for the Steelers since Wilie Parker gained 161 yards against Tennessee of September 11, 2005.

On top of that, Williams became just the fifth active player with at least 7,500 rushing yards, at least 2,000 receiving yards, and at least 60 total touchdowns in a career.

The humble running back gave a lot of credit to his offensive live.  Here is what he said on Twitter.
