The NCAA Wresting Tournament continues to have some local flare.

Former Punxsutawney wrestler Kaleb Young finished fifth.
First Round: No. 6 seed Kaleb Young (Iowa) defeated Columbia’s Dan Reed by technical fall 16-1
Second Round: Young defeated No. 11 seed Ohio State’s Ke-Shawn Hayes by major decision 14-2
Quarterfinals: Young defeated No. 3 seed Ryan Deakin from Northwestern 7-5 in overtime
Semifinals: No. 2 seed Nebraska’s Tyler Berger defeated Young 5-3
Consolation Semfinals: No. 4 seed Michigan’s Alec Pantaleo defeated Young 6-2
Fifth Place Match:Young defeated No. 3 seed Deakin from Northwestern 7-5 in overtime
Former DuBois wrestler Tom Sleigh finished 2-2 and did not place.
First Round: Virginia Tech’s No. 10 Tom Sleigh defeated No. 23 Kellan Stout from Pittsburgh 2-1
Second Round: Sleigh defeated No. 7 seed Jay Aeillo from Virginia 9-8
Quarterfinals: No. 2 seed Kollin Moore from Ohio State defeated Sleigh 17-11
Round of 12: No. 5 seed Jacob Warner from Iowa defeated Sleigh 6-2.
Sleigh finished one match away from earning All-American honors. He completed his college career as a four-time NCAA qualifier.
Former Central Cambria wrestler Max Murin finished the tournament 2-2 and did not place.
First Round: No. 22 seed Max Murin defeated No. 11 seed Tristan Moran from Wisconsin 3-2
Second Round: Murin defeated No. 6 seed Mike Carr 4-3 to advance to the quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals: No. 3 Nick Lee defeated Murin 4-1
Round of 12: No. 16 seed Chad Red from Nebraska defeated Murin 4-1
Murin finished one win away from All-American honors. He will return next season as a sophomore.
Former Penns Valley wrestler Corey Hazel finished 1-2 in his NCAA Tournament debut.
First Round: No. 16 seed Hazel defeated No. 17 seed Kent State’s Andrew McNally 9-3
Second Round: No. 1 seed Myles Martin from Ohio State defeated Hazel 16-5
Consolation: No. 9 Taylor Venz (Nebraska) defeated Hazel 13-7.
Hazel finishes the tournament without placing. He will return next year as a junior.
Former Huntingdon wrestler Jacob Oliver went 0-2 and his tournament run as ended.
First Round: No. 28 seed Oliver lost to No. 5 seed Jordan Kutler from Lehigh by major decision 10-2
Second Round: Oliver lost to No. 21 seed Marcus Coleman from Iowa State 9-4.
Oliver will return next season as a sophomore.
