ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Altoona Curve is getting ready for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day.
The Curve play Erie Friday night but Curve players will be wearing a different jersey. Instead, they will wear a custom jersey that features the D-Day landing shots on the front and back and on the sleeves plus the June 6th and June 7th pages of the Altoona Mirror from that year.
The jerseys will be auctioned off and all the proceeds will go to the James E. Van Dandt VA Medical Center.
