It’s a forty-minute drive outside of the neighborhood of Barra where you’ll find one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Rio…Point de Grumari.

Local resident Tamiris Monteiro tells us, “It’s the only restaurant in this area that has the amazing seafood and a spectacular view.”

To get there you must first travel a windy, narrow road to the top of the mountain.

Guests are welcomed into a beautiful dining area with large windows to show off the view.

Beyond the forest there’s a private beach, owned by the Brazilian army.

Monteiro says, “Out there we have the Marambaia Beach and it’s a beautiful beach.”
