A historic Civil War flag from Hollidaysburg was rededicated on the Gettysburg Battlefield in July.
Timothy Breslin’s grandfather Michael Hollern served with Pennsylvania’s 62 Infantry. He led a charge to make sure the men who fought in Gettysburg were not forgotten.
The restored silk flag is currently on display at the Hollidaysburg public library. And it will be relocated to the Hollidaysburg Area High School.
