Figures released Monday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health show the number of confirmed Zika cases in the state at 12. That’s up one from last week. Test results are pending on 158 people in Pa.
Nationally, the total number of confirmed Zika cases stands at 312, including 27 pregnant women. The Zika virus during pregnancy is linked to a devastating birth defect.
