Several World War II medals and a Purple Heart were allegedly stolen from a Bedford County veteran’s home.

State Police in Bedford said the medals, a TV and about $500 in one-dollar gold coins were stolen from the victim’s home on Sycamore Road in East St. Clair Township.

It happened sometimes between February 12 and February 17.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
