Two men were taken to the hospital after an incident with an oil tanker Wednesday afternoon.

Crews were called to Metzler Brothers in Duncansville, Blair County just before 1:30 p.m.  They shut down access to the auto yard for about an hour.

Duncansville Volunteer Fire Company Assistant Chief Craig Hazlett told WTAJ the two men involved are employees at Metzler Brothers and were doing routine maintenance, cleaning out an oil tanker when one of the men fell in.

Crews helped get the man out, but it is unclear how the second man was injured.  Hazlett added there was vapor in the area of the oil tanker.

The Fire Marshal was on scene to investigate. There is no word on the extent of either of the men’s injuries.
