A secretary is under investigation for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from a club.
State Police in Ridgway didn’t release the woman’s name, but said the 29 year-old stole more than $14,000 from the Fraternal Order of Eagles #727 in Kersey.
The woman allegedly took cash from the club’s checking account while serving as its secretary between July 2014 and September 2015.
An investigation is ongoing.
