A Johnstown woman sentenced up to 25 years in prison for the death of a baby wants her plea to be withdrawn.

Back in October, Hayley Butler plead “no contest” to the 2014 killing of her boyfriend’s 10-month-old baby while she was taking care of him.

Now, according to the Tribune Democrat, with the help of a new attorney, Butler wants a judge to withdraw her plea and revise her sentence.

Butler says she felt her old attorney gave her a false impression of what her sentence would be and she felt pressured to enter a plea, rather than head to trial.
