A man trying to outrun police went airborne in his car and crashed in a quiet Bedford County neighborhood.
Few details are being released, but we know this police chase started on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
It ended around Noon on North Richard Street in Bedford.
When WTAJ crews arrived on scene the car that crashed was on fire and split in two.
Amazingly the man who was behind the wheel got out and tried to run from police officers.
He was caught a short time later.
Police are not saying what started to pursuit or who this man is.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
