After three months, the DuBois City Council has lifted a ban on outdoor watering.

City manager John “Herm” Suplizio said last night that the water was 35 inches below the spillway at their Thursday afternoon work session.

Then, it started raining, and by Monday at 7 a.m., the water was two inches over the spillway.

The council then voted 4-0 to lift the ban. The water continues to run over the spillway at the DuBois Municipal Reservoir in Union Township.
