USPS is celebrating its 24th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive and local residents have the chance to take part, this weekend.
Every second Saturday in May, letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America collect for the largest one-day food drive in the nation.
On May 13, carriers will be picking up non-perishable food donations.
Residents don’t have to leave their homes, but can leave a bag of donations by their mailbox.
The drive has delivered more than one billion pounds of food over the past 24 years.
